H+E’s range of Tube Settlers are lamella clarifiers that provide highly efficient settlement of flocculated solids. In applications where the volume of sludge accumulated is relatively large they can bring significant advantages. This is where conventional lamella clarifiers really struggle because of their quite small sludge collection cones.
Tube Settlers have provided efficient settlement of suspended solids for more than 30 years. In that time, have proved their worth many times over.
They are available in a wide range of sizes, for flow rates from approximately 5 to 40m3/h. You can use more than one Tube Settler, and divide the flow accordingly if your flow rate is higher than that.
Shot-blasted and welded mild steel, coated with epoxy paint to a very high specification is the normal method of construction for Tube Settler tanks. Other materials of construction such as stainless steel or concrete can also be used. Many tube settlers are still in good condition and successfully operating after more than 25 years in use.
We supply a Tube Settler with an integral sludge collection tank for smaller units. Again there are many such units in operation for smaller flow plants.
